This smart function automatically locks your vehicle’s doors as soon as you start driving. Doors can still be opened from the inside, but remain locked from the outside – a simple and effective way to protect yourself against unauthorized access, for example at traffic lights or in urban areas. A small update with a big impact on your safety – especially against car-jacking.

How it works:

• Once a certain speed* is reached, the vehicle automatically locks all doors.
• Doors can still be opened from the inside at any time.
• Need to let someone in? Just unlock with the button – once you drive off again, the system locks the doors automatically.
• After switching off the ignition, all doors are unlocked automatically.

Especially convenient:

With many models, you can activate or deactivate the feature anytime via the vehicle’s onboard menu – depending on your preference.

What about emergencies?

No worries! If the system detects an accident – for example via airbag deployment** or fuel cut-off – it will automatically unlock all doors. Emergency services will have full access at all times.
