Accessibility statement

This page tells you where conversmod.de stands on accessibility and how to report a barrier if you run into one.

Why there is no BFSG statement here

The German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) exempts micro-enterprises from its requirements — § 3 (3) BFSG. A micro-enterprise has fewer than 10 employees and an annual turnover or balance sheet total of at most 2 million euros. Falk Maurer-Lackermann assumes to be one; that also removes the statement under § 14 BFSG which other providers have to publish here. That says nothing about the state of this site: it has not been tested against EN 301 549 or WCAG 2.1 AA, and we claim neither conformance nor any degree of fulfilment. In practice the exemption changes nothing — if you get stuck here, we want to know. The reporting route below is open to you, and so is the market surveillance authority beneath it.

Report a barrier

Stuck somewhere — the screen reader skips something, keyboard operation gets trapped, the contrast is not enough, a form cannot be filled in? Then write to us. If you can, say which page it happened on and what you are using (browser, operating system, assistive technology). You will get a reference under which your report is tracked. An e-mail address is optional — but without one we cannot ask you back.

Competent market surveillance authority

If you are not satisfied with our answer, or get none, you can turn to the market surveillance authority. Under § 32 (1) BFSG it must open proceedings on your application if you assert that a barrier prevents you from using a service, or limits your use of it. A recognised association may also do this for you or in its own name.
