Automatic Locking When Driving Off

Our most popular programming: automatic door locking when driving off. As soon as you start driving, your vehicle locks automatically. The doors can still be opened from the inside but not from the outside – effective protection against unauthorized access, e.g. at traffic lights or in city traffic and against car-jacking. How it works: • Above a certain speed* the vehicle locks automatically • The doors can still be opened from the inside at any time • Need to let someone in? Just unlock at the push of a button – when you drive off again the car locks itself once more • After switching off the ignition, all doors are unlocked automatically Especially convenient: on many models you can activate or deactivate the feature easily via the on-board computer menu. Supported models (among others): Mondeo (from 2015), Mustang (from 2018), Focus (from 2018), Edge (from 2015), S-Max / Galaxy (from 2015). Safe in an emergency: if the system detects an accident (e.g. via airbag deployment** or fuel cut-off), it automatically unlocks all doors so emergency services always have access.
