Always keep an eye on your tire pressure!
All newer vehicles come with tire pressure monitoring as standard. However, the actual pressure value is often not shown – you only get a warning when air is lost. With this option, the pressure of each individual tire is displayed in the instrument cluster.
How it works: Ford uses active systems. Sensors in each wheel continuously measure the air pressure and transmit it wirelessly to the body control module (BCM). On many models Ford does not provide a readout of the actual pressure – we unlock it.
Benefits:
• No more tedious manual checking
• Correct pressure saves fuel and protects your tires
• Better contact between vehicle and road
No new sensors are required – you can simply keep using your existing ones.
Only for vehicles with a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
