Observation Package

Modern vehicles have permanent daytime running lights that cannot be switched off. While this improves road safety, it can be a hindrance during surveillance, as the vehicle cannot be fully darkened. We change this: depending on the software version, the daytime running lights can be deactivated – and of course reactivated – via the light switch or a menu item in the on-board computer or navigation system. We also unlock the Silent Mode. This deactivates the turn-indicator acknowledgement of the central locking as well as the welcome and automatic interior lighting. This too can be controlled in the Sync 3 system or via the on-board computer. Disabling the daytime running lights is not permitted on public roads. A Sync 3 system update may be required (at additional cost).
